Fourteen Island North Feeder Lakes Association (FINFLA)

FINFLA is an association of property holders, located in the north east quarter of Fourteen Island Lake, with a common interest in the upkeep and improvement of Meredith Lane, to maintain accessibility for all users and emergency vehicles.

All owners or lessees of properties in the sub-divisions bordering the north- east shore of Fourteen Island and Mink Lake, and around Buffy, Little John and Little John's Sister feeder Lakes, are entitled to membership of the Association. All property owners who use Meredith Lane are required to contribute fees for road maintenance as directed by the 'Trustees' of the Association. All paid up members are entitled to the benefits of membership and voting rights as outlined in the by-laws of the Association.

The Executive of the Association comprises a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Road Engineers. They are elected anually by members and act as the 'Trustees' of the Association. Lane Representatives are also nominated for "feeder lanes" leading off Meredith Lane.

The business of the Association, including the election of the executive, determination of road levies, policy-making and financial management, are conducted in accord with agreed by-laws adopted by the Association.

The Annual General Meeting of the Association takes place each summer and is open to all members.
