FIMLA Natural Environment
The FIMLA Lake Stewardship Plan:
- Outlines a range of issues related to the natural environment around the FIMLA lakes;
- Provides recommendations that address what needs to be done to monitor, protect and enhance the ecosystems in the watershed and maintain a healthy environment for fish , wildlife and vegetation; and
- Proposes a set of actions and initiatives to achieve these aims, including placing a complete species list on the FIMLA Website, for residents to update.
These proposals are set out in the tabbed panels below, together with some material to act as a starting point for these tasks.
Volunteers are encouraged to come forward to help achieve the plan’s goal and objectives.
Contact: FIMLA at: FIMLA@live.ca if you would like to get involved with the delivery of any of the tasks and initiatives listed.
